PortAventura is the biggest theme park in Spain. If I were to compare it with other theme parks I’d say it’s like 6 Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California. They had some SERIOUSLY rocking coasters there! On the first day at PortAventura we stayed away from the roller coasters because the following day we purchased “fast passes” which gave us access to the front of the line for eight coasters on that day. K and I had a great time and I’d recommend PortAventura. The buffet at our hotel (El Dorado) was fantastic. The room prices were very reasonable as well. Train travel there from Barcelona was also quite reasonable (although a bit complicated). All-in-all a great vacation trip destination.

Taking the train to PortAdventura. Lots of art 🙂
Uncharted was a really fun ride, and quite unusual. The cars were on a rail, but had a turret motion about them where it would rotate you around. They also could accelerate rapidly

Halloween Time

They had all of the Halloween decorations up

Some Serious Coasters Here

BTW, we went on every single one of these coasters in the next day!

Ferrari Land

We didn’t get a chance to do this ride

The room was good, and affordable as well. It was as cheap as an AirBnB, and you get meals.
