Once again this just happened, we didn’t plan it at all. We were walking by the thousand+ year old basilica next to our AirBnB and I looked in to see that they had some sort of laser light show. I stopped and looked at it for a couple minutes and decided that it was REALLY good! The new projector technology is merging with the new 3D spacial merging software stuff to project geometrically correct renderings of CG scenes onto building walls. This is the same tech that was used in Disney Paris. It makes any surface into a instant view into a 3D scene. Imagine turning all the surfaces into a giant fish tank… That’s what the new stuff does.
I bargained the guy down for the tickets! He said tickets were no less than 30 euro each. I looked over his shoulder to the app he was looking at and picked the 20 euro each tickets instead 🙂 We had tickets for 9pm which is even better because the basilica windows would be dark. Here are the pictures. At the bottom are 19 videos of the show. If I wasn’t me I’d think I have a problem with taking too many photos/videos 🙂 but this show was so good. K agrees as well and is happy I took the videos. I love this new tech!
