I got the flu! Took me 3 days to shake it. I guess it was influenza “type 1” according the the tester we had. Fortunately it wasn’t Covid (as far as we know). K didn’t get it (thank God). We’re in a small studio AirBnB apartment so it’s a miracle she didn’t get it.

Anyhoo. That’s what happened to London Days 5, 6, 7. K’ll have to do those days. I hardly ever get sick, yet have been sick 3 times in one month! I think the mold in Venice really did me in. Coming out of Venice my lungs weren’t 100% so I wouldn’t be surprised if I got the flu there and it became an issue on the night of the 4th day of London. We’re heading to see K’s Mom in a community after London so we have to be a serious about trying to not get sick. After the Harry Potter show (some days from now) we wrapped up for seeing shows because we can’t risk getting another cold at this point.

On this day we hit up the V&A Museum just across Hyde Park. It’s a nice walk there, and a great “first day back in public”. We wore masks (and have quite frequently since).

Victoria and Albert Museum

Seems like a complicated relationship

Buddhist and Hindu Stuff

This was a “priceless” rug from a long time ago. Maybe the best still existing rug of that type?

Tippoo’s Tiger

This is really funny. It was a mechanical tiger that mauls a British soldier

Creative adds for a chimney šŸ™‚
What a genie bottle!

Walking Back Home

We went to this museum in a day or two. Really cool place
