This museum is fantastic. They really spent a whole lot of effort to make the displays not only functional, but works of art in themselves. When I walked through the various exhibits I felt like I was walking into a small world unto itself.
Lots of stuffed animals though, so here’s your trigger warning. I’m not really a fan of the whole stuffed animal thing, but hundreds of years ago that was how people got to witness the magnificence of animals that weren’t where they lived.
On the Way There – The Rialto Bridge
I think that the Rialto Bridge was the first bridge to span the main canal of Venice. Since then they’ve added others. The Rialto Bridge is close to us so it’s the one we use the most to get across the canal. It actually has shops on it.

The glare in this room was really bad. I was able to pull most of the shots out, but some of them have a lot of glare. Trigger Warning: Some of this stuff is just natural science gross stuff. Nightmare fuel sort of stuff.
