It’s pretty cold up here!

When we got our tickets for The London Eye we had the opportunity to get a package deal. If you don’t get a package deal you pay 35 pounds for The London Eye alone. However, if you get the package deal you get tickets for: The London Eye, The Sea Life London Aquarium (quite good), The London Dungeon (which was really cool), Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (really cool), and The Big Bus Tour (quite nice). How much was the package??? About 50 pounds.. So a pretty easy decision to do all five attractions if you have the time. You can do any of those attractions on any days within something like 6 months. We loved all of them! šŸ™‚ Best 50 pounds ever. How much is a pound? About $1.30.

It was a chilly day, but we were all bundled up on the top level of the bus (which was outside). They had a headphone jack that you could plug your headphones into and listen to historical facts/etc. Pretty corny stuff, but still worth the listen (for awhile anyways). They did a good job and I would recommend the tour. You can get off the tour bus at any time, so we got off down by the London Tower. Later we picked up another “Big Bus” and made it home.

We didn’t go into many of the historical sites (like The London Tower) because: They were expensive, but more importantly because we’re just so burnt-out with seeing castles, churches, government buildings, etc at this point. It’s been almost 4 months of traveling at this point and we just can’t do anymore of those types of attractions. Fortunately we had plenty of other stuff to check into that got us outside and moving around, and having fun.

If you zoom in you can see that the clock has a guy inside of it cleaning the glass šŸ™‚ Fantastic use of a round video screen
Christmas decorations are out
Got a GREAT shot from the top of the bus
A Lamborghini 3 wheeled peddle taxi šŸ™‚
They’re big on clocks in London. Probably harkens back to the Industrial Revolution
Looks just like I imagined in Harry Potter
Dragon spotting!
This church actually survived WW2! I guess Churchill (or someone like that) would ask every morning if it was still standing
Tower Bridge from London Bridge. The London Bridge (I think) is the oldest bridge to span the Thames
This place has some history. Very old establishment
Going over Tower Bridge
London Tower
Big Ben is actually the name of a bell in the tower. Not the building name
