We arrived in London after a short and uneventful flight from Venice. Settled into our little studio apartment with great central location and just in time for my first roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner since my mom gave up cooking. Not as good as mom’s, but pretty darn delightful, especially when eating in a traditional local pub with an Arsenal vs Chelsea football game playing. Welcome to London!
We then walked about 10 miles the next day, just getting a lay of the land and exploring. We’ve got into a travel routine where we’ll spend the first couple of days just touring around before diving into museums and galleries. It was cold and a few showers, but overall glorious winter weather.
