Today we went to the aquarium. It was part of that adventure package I mentioned earlier. The aquarium was actually bigger and more elaborate then I thought it’d be. They had it all setup to take some great photos.

After the aquarium we did a nighttime adventure to see Sherlock Holmes’s Address. There’s a bit of a story around that but I’ll save that for its section below.

The Big Tanks

They said they had the biggest coral reef tank in England (or something like that). It was pretty spectacular to see in person. Everything looked quite healthy.

Sooo many Nemo fishies

Sea Horses

Sea horses eating dinner
Ants hard at work
This guy is fishing. Didn’t catch one swimming through its mouth though while we were there

The Piranha Tank!

Someone has got a good sense of humor here. It’s a skeleton posting a sign “Please Do Not Feed The Fish”. It’s hard to see in the photo though
This is where they keep the penguins

K was going to take a ride in a “hurricane” but it cost money. Did I mention that we’re frugal 🙂 Funny that it says “hurricane” but it shows a picture of a tornado. Confusing kids for money $$$ (far too common nowadays)

Jellies

My cheap phone camera has trouble taking low light pictures, but I was able to touch them up to the point where they’re ok.

The kids liked the video game
That was a good time

Sherlock Holmes Address

Ok, so the story around Sherlock Holmes address is that the address doesn’t actually exist. But, the Sherlock Holmes Museum is given the right to list this fictional address on its door. It doesn’t really make much sense because the address (221B Baker Street) is actually listed out of order on the block. We eventually found it though.

Heading Back Home

The entire shop is wrapped as a gift 🙂
In full Christmas regalia
The Underground looks like a mechanized fortress
