This was probably the best play I’ve ever seen, and the longest one! Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is actually a two part play. You can do one part around lunch, and the last part around dinner. It was a long day but we had a great time. The acting was top-notch, most of the well known Harry Potter characters were there (as they did [spoiler] the whole Back To The Future thing with the story which is all the rage). Either way it was a lot of fun!

The sets were detailed and dynamic. The effects were fantastic. The price was fantastic as well as we happened to just get really quite lucky with the booking (think $80 bucks for both of us total), and the seats were better than expected and fun considering how high we were in the rafters. The rafters were filled with lively kids who seemed to love what was going on enough to even put down their phones when the show started.
Here’s the YouTube channel for it: https://www.youtube.com/@CursedChildOfficial/videos

I’m so glad we got to see this as I like (not love) Harry Potter stuff, and the story + venue were interesting enough to make it enjoyable to see live, even for about 5 hours in a single day. The downside was that so many people were sick and coughing constantly while I was trying to get over the flu from last week.

We decided that this would be our last really social event as we’ll be at K’s Mom’s high-rise assisted living community in a little over a week from this show. I was just praying we didn’t get sick as that would have complicated the trip to Canada substantially. We didn’t end up getting sick (Hallelujah) 🙂 We wore masks during the whole show though, and in the metro’s, and in the airport. It was a whole lot of mask wearing over the next week!
Went For A Walk Around
The walk around the area after the show was fantastic as well. We really got a feel for Christmas in London (which was my goal). These people have so much life about them. What a blast to get to watch how Christmas comes alive in London.

If I had more time in London I’d try to go to The Lion King as well.

This guy could really belt out Hallelujah. We were just walking down the street and heard him. Seems like he should be on one of those singing contest shows (maybe he was…).

Did you notice Cucumber Alley in the last set of pictures LOL! Sounds dangerous.
