Paris Day 25 was a recovery day. K spent time with a friend that she’s known for 40 years! They lost touch for awhile, but reconnected awhile back. Good times 🙂

In Paris they allow residents to sell stuff on the street a couple times or so a year. Good opportunity to get some good deals! K’s friend showed us how it’s done.

Back to Day 26 – On the Way to Musee De Cluny
Musee De Cluny was the big adventure for the day. On the way there I snapped some scenery shots.

The last picture there was a guy selling really cool laser cut models that you assemble. They have motors as well so really catch your eye. I could dedicate a lifetime towards happily crafting models like this. Too busy… gotta: Fix things. Keep K entertained. Keep up with the news. And, keep up with AI advancements. Making some music with Logic Pro for IOS would be nice as well. My life is booked!
Musee De Cluny
This museum was actually founded on TWO historical sites: A 2000ish year old Roman bath house, and a noble manor (ie “hotel” in French). So much history! They just build one on top of the other. Somehow that worked for France for many hundreds of years. I wonder if that technique could pass modern inspections?
I’m not quite sure of the history of how the artifacts got here, but I think at least a substantial portion were from private collections.

When we left the museum we were treated to a street band.
Saint Germain De Pres Cathedral

We actually sat for a bit of mass at Saint Germain De Pres Cathedral. The colors in this Cathedral were great. I guess the Pope had been there relatively recently. I couldn’t understand a word of what they were saying so started to get droopy eyed. Actually, come to think of it, I always get that way in church LOL.

That’s it for that day. Our stay in Paris is almost over. I feel like we saw a lot!
