Montmartre is a region in Paris within walking distance of where we are.

The first thing I noticed was that pharmacies in Paris have digital green crosses outside. Back home green crosses signify dispensaries (ie pot shops). For about a minute it was pretty funny to see a street with what I thought were 3 dispensaries in a quarter mile

Graffiti art is really embraced in Paris. All along the roads you see graffiti art wherever it makes sense. I’ll post more graffiti as I see it.

Nice (sometime very ornate) wrought iron fences are everywhere in Paris.

K getting a good swing in 🙂

The settlement that is now Paris is about 1000 years old! You can really see the history in the buildings. Glad I don’t have to deal with fixing walls like that in the USA! Imagine how terrifying that would be!

Below are neighborhood and park photos.

The contrast in this photo is pretty bad, but K looks so happy that I’ll post it now and fix the contrast later.

Montmartre Cathedral

You can put locks on a fence outside of the cathedral. K and I purchased a lock and added our names to it 🙂

Cafes are EVERYWHERE. This one is unique in that famous characters align the establishment.

A two story carousel depicting Venice is located at the bottom of the hill that leads to the cathedral.

And that’s all for day 2 🙂
