K wanted to see the resting place of Jim Morrison. In addition we both like to see the artwork in graveyards. So this day was another spooky dive into a massive 200+ year old graveyard in Paris.

This guy put his medals on his tombstone. Looks great. Creative. The colors seem like they’re holding up.

This couple was known for writing really great love letters.
Some sort of resin encases these flowers. Bet it looked great when it was new.
Very pretty. Getting ideas for my grave! A diamond tombstone in 2080 might not be unheard of then.

Jim Morrison

This tree was right next to Jim Morrison’s grave. People I guess put their bubble gum on this tree so they wrapped it in a bamboo curtain. Probably so the tree didn’t die.
This tree is probably the single greatest source of rockstar DNA in the world. Toxicological testing would probably be pretty funny!
This is a group monument. Funny to see in a gravyeard.
I guess this guy helped build the mass transit system in Paris? If so he probably did a good job.
Now that is spooky. I think it has something to do with a revolution.

Women leave kisses on this gravestone so they put up a piece of glass for it.
The monuments are sometimes a bit terrifying.
