I write this on the train to Barcelona, having left Paris this afternoon. It’s been an incredible month of adventuring, and we’ve logged many miles walking the streets, museums and galleries. There have been so many highlights, I don’t know where to begin, but will pick some of my favorite images/moments to share. In a funny turn of events, it’s Dan who’s been dedicated to a daily journal, and he’s working to catch up and document each day. Me… I’m too busy eating escargots and onion soup, planning adventure (though Dan’s come up with some great ones, too), and working threads of surrealists and sacred feminine (will leave those for another post).
Our last meal at Rita, our favorite local restaurant
One of the great things about staying for a month is that we’ve had the luxury of settling into a neighborhood… our regular boulangerie, grocery store, café—places where we’ve got to know the people and become familiar faces to those who live here. I love that feeling, and am grateful to be able to travel this way. It’s also a whole lot cheaper to rent by the month, so recommend if you’re on a budget (hey all you remote working friends, take note!).
